CARRYL CHURCH

Carryl Church writes emotive historical fiction with a mystery at its heart, exploring love both familial and romantic - the people we’re given and those we choose for ourselves.

Originally from the Isle of Wight, she now lives with her family in Devon. A love of cinema led to a career as a Film Archivist, working at the Imperial War Museum and the BBC. Years spent watching archive footage gave her a unique insight into how people lived in the early 20th Century now brought vividly to life in her novels.

When she’s not writing, she’s probably reading, or roaming about the countryside trying to untangle a plot problem.
